Nichelle Denise Woods was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. She started singing at the tender age of four years old at her grandfather’s church in the sunshine band. She was known by the name (Little Dee Dee). She sang at local churches and also traveled to Memphis, Tennessee to the COGIC Convention. Her mother was and still is an Evangelist and her father is also a singer they knew she had a gift early on.

By the time she was eleven years old she was opening up for such artist as Pastor Shirley Caesar, Walter Hawkins and The Hawkins Family and The Williams Brothers. By the early teens she was the youngest member to join The O’Neal Twins and the Interfaith Choir.

Some of her inspirations are Pastor Shirley Caesar, The Clark Sisters, Yolanda Adams, Tamala Mann and many more. Gospel music has always been her passion and her roots because it is what her parents played at home.

Today Nichelle is a Praise and worship leader at her church House of Prayer Assembly in Centerville, Illinois under the leadership of Bishop David Tabb and Pastor Barnela Tabb.
